JET Band Booster Blast 10/28/19

Message from Michael Ary, Director of Bands

We are here. Our last week of our competition season.  This week we have rehearsals Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday after school, we leave for the San Antonio BOA competition. Click here for contest travel itinerary.

All meals are provided for the San Antonio trip, but your student may want to bring souvenir money for the contest.  We are only gone for one night so your student doesn’t need to pack much – Friday we just travel, eat dinner and then check into hotel for the night; Saturday we eat at hotel, go to a local school for a quick rehearsal, then head to the Alamodome for our performance, then head back home once we are done competing.

Concert Program ads are due on Friday, November 1st. For, the Yearbook, it is January 31st.  You can become a Sustaining Member at any time. Click below to learn more or get in touch with the contacts for details:

Spirit Wear

All show shirts and hoodies, as well as all spirit wear, have been picked up. Thank you for your support. Contact Melissa Crowder at spirit@jetband.org if there are any issues or questions.

Spirit Stores and JET Band Assistance Fund

Missed out on the group spirit wear orders?  Looking for something different and new?  Check out these two online shops for more spirit wear and gear options!  Items in these shops will be shipped directly to you rather than being ordered as part of a group.  Cold weather gear including hats, jackets and an array of hoodies are available.

These shops will be available throughout the year and 5% of each sale will go to the JET Band Student Assistance Fund to help provide for those students who may have a need for help with meeting the expense of participating in band and guard.

Generous alumni parents have offered matching funds for donations to the JET Band Student Assistance Fund.  If you’d like to help, you can donate in any amount by check made out to JET Band Boosters, in an envelope labeled “JET Band Assistance Fund”, and drop it into the band safe.
