JET Band Kicks Off the Year with Community & Connection!

We hope you enjoyed our Preview night and family BBQ! This was a great success and it was wonderful to see you all. Being able to spotlight our students hard work is one of the true blessings of this event. On behalf of our students, directors and boosters, we greatly appreciate your support!

I'm looking forward to seeing so many of you out supporting our students for Marchathon on Saturday. Don't forget to HYDRATE!

Parent Chat Refresh: Building Stronger Connections

As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement, we’re doing a little housekeeping! We’re updating our section chats to better support our amazing parent community.

What’s Changing? You’ll soon be added to a new Parent-Only Chat for your student’s section. These chats will also include members of the Executive Board, so you’ll always have someone available to answer questions and offer support. We’re also launching dedicated chats for Senior Parents and Freshman Parents, recognizing that each group has unique needs and events throughout the year.

Why the Update? As we’ve explored BoosterHub more deeply, we discovered that once a chat is created, it can’t be edited or reorganized. To keep communication clear, helpful, and organized, we’re refreshing our strategy. Sylvia Sosa, one of our Section Leader Parent Liaisons, is currently setting up these new chats.

We encourage you to use these spaces to ask questions, support one another, and build section pride! Some groups are already working on section shirts, socials, and more. Smaller chats help foster a sense of community and comfort—especially for those who might hesitate to speak up in a larger group. Please introduce yourself and get to know your fellow section parents!

MarchAThon Update

Total raised currently as of 11PM Tuesday 8/12 is: $59,760 WOW!!! Almost there!

Updates from Vice President Becky Fraizer, Vice President Fundraising and Mum Coordinator

🎉 Mum Making Season is in FULL SWING! 🎉

Now that we’re back in school, we’re unpacking and getting things rolling—and we need YOUR help!

For those who don’t know, we supply mums to the entire school and are the preferred provider for Taylor High School. This is a legacy fundraiser for our program, and our mums are famous!

Starting the second day of school, we’ll have sign-ups available for volunteers. Whether you’re crafty or just want to lend a hand, we’d love to have you join us! If you have time now, please let me know! I am up at school all day every day already hard at work and would love to have you join me.

Shoes and Garment Bags Have Arrived for everyone who ordered by July 31st!

We will be handing these out after practice on Thursday, August 14th on the field! Please make sure your student picks theirs up.

Band & Color Guard Dues

We’ve officially reached the halfway point in our dues collection season, and we want to thank everyone who has already submitted their payments!

As of now, June and July payments are past due, and late fees have begun. Families with outstanding balances have been sent updated invoices, which are due upon receipt.

• June Payment: Now $250 (late fee applied)
• July Payment: Now $225 (late fee applied)
• August Payment: Due August 1- Late fees will start August 16th
• ➡️ By now, all families should have paid at least $625, unless a payment plan has been arranged.
