Please come out this Friday night at 7pm to see what our students have been working on these past few weeks. Each section will do a little show and tell of the skills we have been developing, then we'll perform the portion of our show that we've learned so far. The students have been working hard and would love to perform in front of an audience so please come support their efforts.

JET Band Kicks Off the Year with Community & Connection!

This week, we hosted our first Booster Meeting of the 25/26 school year and were thrilled to welcome so many new families! Thank you for taking the time to come out and learn more about the program—we hope you’ll stay involved.

This year, our focus is on COMMUNITY and COMMUNICATION. With the launch of BoosterHub and renewed board initiatives, we’re committed to making sure every family—new and returning—feels informed, connected, and valued.

We’re proud to kick off this focus with the perfect event: our JET Family BBQ & Preview Night this Friday! Based on presales, we’re expecting a huge turnout and can’t wait to showcase the hard work of our students and staff. Come celebrate with us, wear your band gear, and cheer on your kids! See you Friday!

🚍Interested in Chaperoning This Season?🚍

I might be a little biased… but this is definitely one of the BEST groups to get involved with! Amazing people, awesome kids, and you get to be part of the action while watching them do what they love. 💙

To kick off our chaperone season, we have REQUIRED Chaperone Training happening:

Chaperones play a vital role in the health and safety of our students. We’ll cover:

📌 If you can’t attend live, the session will be recorded—but you must watch it before volunteering and sign the consent. This is for the safety of all involved.

🎺🔥 JET Family Barbecue & Preview Night 🔥🎺

Its HERE and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our community together for a night of music, celebration, and smoky-good eats!

📅 Date: Friday, August 8

📍 Location: Taylor High School Football Field & Freshman Commons

🕖 Showtime: 7:00 PM sharp — arrive early for great seats and good parking and grab some KONA ICE to keep cool in the stands! They arrive at 6!

🎶 What to Expect: Get a first look at this year’s show, Beautifully Broken, performed by our incredible JET Band and Color Guard students. You’ll be amazed at how far they’ve come since Day One of Summer Band!

🍽️ Dinner Details: After the performance, join us inside the Freshman Commons for a delicious Rudy’s BBQ dinner — available by pre-order only.

❄️ Cool Treats: Kona Ice will be onsite for a refreshing treat starting at 6 pm — available for purchase till about 8:30.

🏆 Awards & Recognition: During dinner, we’ll celebrate student achievements with special awards presented by our Directors and Section Leaders. It’s a moment you won’t want to miss!

💙 Why This Matters: This event is more than just fun — it’s also a fundraiser that helps power our season. Your meal purchases and donations make a real difference! THANK YOU!

NOTE: This event replaces our traditional Food Truck Night — and we think it’s going to be even better! With a cool indoor space, reliable catering, and plenty of seating, we’re creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for all. Remember food is available for pre-order only.

We’re adding new volunteer opportunities every day, so if you haven’t had a chance to check them out yet, now’s a great time!

MarchAThon Update

Total Raised Currently as of 11PM Tuesday 8/5 is $38,836!!! This is just shy of 60% of our goal of $65,000!

Even though our March is on the 16th we will still be collecting donations and working towards our goal up until August 28th! We will announce our final total for the fundraiser along with the prize winners at our first Football Game August 29th! The kids LOVE it!

Updates from Vice President Becky Fraizer, Vice President Fundraising and Mum Coordinator

🎉 Mum Making Season is in FULL SWING! 🎉

Now that we’re back in school, we’re unpacking and getting things rolling—and we need YOUR help!

For those who don’t know, we supply mums to the entire school and are the preferred provider for Taylor High School. This is a legacy fundraiser for our program, and our mums are famous!

Starting the second day of school, we’ll have sign-ups available for volunteers. Whether you’re crafty or just want to lend a hand, we’d love to have you join us! If you have time now, please let me know! I am up at school all day every day already hard at work and would love to have you join me.

JET Band & Color Guard Uniform Fittings- MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS

Only Freshman should still need to be fitted.

TIMES: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM each day below and please make sure students arrive on time.

Uniform Fitting Dates by Class:

• August 8 – Freshmen
• August 11 & 12 - Make up days - all grade levels - final opportunity to be fitted

Band & Color Guard Dues

We’ve officially reached the halfway point in our dues collection season, and we want to thank everyone who has already submitted their payments!

As of now, June and July payments are past due, and late fees have begun. Families with outstanding balances have been sent updated invoices, which are due upon receipt.

• June Payment: Now $250 (late fee applied)
• July Payment: Now $225 (late fee applied)
• August Payment: Due August 1- Late fees will start August 16th
• ➡️ By now, all families should have paid at least $625, unless a payment plan has been arranged.
